Benefits and dangers of the internet

As we know everything has it’s good and bad sides. Now let’s see advantages and disadvantages of using the internet by children.
D: While using the internet they can find a lot of screens with games and the rest of them are fighting games. But there are a lot of games for checking knowledge. Instead of learning some new information, they usually use it for having fun. Even we can see on the blogs that they wrote: “I got the highest score on WarCraft  game”. Cause of this they usually spend their time for nothing and waste time. As they spend time before the computer screen, they may damage their eyesight. That’s why parents should always take control. Another example is being lazy. Imagine that teacher gave them a task to write an essay or something like this. They can easily find it from the internet and copy it. Then pupils try to submit it without reading. As a result not only children but students also can become addicted to the Internet. But there is no guarantee that the information is true. It can be just comments. It’s better to read books.
A: Imagine that someone came from another region and doesn’t know how to find the place. If there is nobody to ask, internet may come for help. With the help of  the internet they can learn foreign languages, find any unfamiliar word’s definition. And for improving knowledge children can join to some groups, chat with foreigners and share with their ideas. Even they may get information about their culture and origins. If they have internet on their cell phones, they can use it anywhere for searching necessary information. For making presentation pupils can use it for taking pictures and templates for designing it.
As a conclusion I want to say that parents shouldn’t give freedom for children on using internet

My first impressions and expectations from IELTE!

Majority of the school leavers have a dream to study at prestigious universities, especially at the one like UzSWLU. I also was no exception. My first impressions about university were breathtaking, because I was very happy that I had managed to get accepted, had done something that's really difficult to achieve nowadays. Our first day was interesting. It was just introducing ourselves. But after classes I got dissatisfied. Students were strange. Initially, I started my courses in the faculty - Second Philology. At that time I wanted to change my class or faculty. Teachers said that it's impossible to choose any other class. Studying in that class was just "a waste of time". Because the level of students was fairly low. Maybe for this reason I got pretty bored. But I don’t mean to say that my level is higher than others.

For about one and a half week I just idly commuted from the univeristy to home. There was no point in going to the university. Then I learned about IELTE program. It was a very good chance to improve my English. I decided to check my knowledge. At first I was afraid that I will fail from speaking examination. Because I don't have so much confidence while speaking, no matter whether in English or Russian Languages. But I really wanted to be in IELTE. Fortunately, I passed the first part and then speaking exam. It wasn’t so difficult. I learned from this that it’s enough to want and try. Now I’m one of the lucky student of UzSWLU. First day in IELTE was excellent. All students were very interesting, cheerful and easy-going. I thought  that I was not sociable but I have become sociable because of my friends in 1C. Courses are a little bit difficult. Despite of these kind of difficulties, we are trying to do our bests.

What I expect from this program? First of all, I think that it will help me to speak confidently in public. Further, it will, hopefully, give me an opportunity to choose a right way in my future career!
